Till King of The Jungle Calls My Bluff

Whoa. The first feverless day for almost two weeks, you can only imagine how great this feels. Well, mainly weird, because I've been ill for so long that I got used to it. The disadvantage of feeling better is wanting to do things, now that I don't feel like dying I want to go out, see my friends, sing, bake a cake and a million other things, but I can't. I still need to rest and give myself time to recover.

So I have done absolutely nothing today. I slept till noon, lay in bed for a few hours, read a book and watched a film. And stared out the window hoping I could go for a walk. Will have to study maths later, I don't even want to know how much I've fallen behind at school... Oh well.

The book I read was By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept by Paulo Coelho. Coelho is one of my favourite authors and I'm completely in love with his writing style. His novels are so full of life and every one of them seems to change me just a tad. They also remind me of the fact that I'm young and can do anything I want. Have read The Zahir, Veronika Decides To Die and By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept so far, am about to read Brida soon.

Also, since I listen to music 24/7 I'm always looking for new bands and artists to listen to. My latest discovery is Marina and The Diamonds, a Greek-Welsh singer, and I'm obsessed with her single "Mowgli's Road", love it.

Laters,
Tiia
